Sparks the Rescue, Portland’s native pop rock sons, are returning to their hometown Saturday for a show at Port City Music Hall. Presented by Jason Legacy and State Theatre, the show will feature the band’s original lineup. Reunited and it feels so good!

In fact, it feels so good that we want to do something special to say “welcome back” to the guys.

On Saturday, we’ll be creating a new flavor in honor of Sparks the Rescue. It’s vanilla bean gelato with mix-ins that include cream-filled chocolate cookies and brownie pieces, all swirled together with caramel. The only thing missing is a name. That’s where you come in. Send us your suggestion (inspired by the band, please) and if we like it, you’ll be our grand prize winner.

You’ll receive two free tickets to Saturday’s show. Not enough for you? You and your guest will also get a chance to join the band during soundcheck. Hey, we’ll even bring over some of your specially named gelato, so you can show the guys just how creative you are.
